Jammed this out this afternoon. Kinda bumpy but a step in the right direction.

Starting to get the idea of this Neurographic stuff. No pressure, very relaxing.
Black Sabbath Live Evil Box Set
Black Sabbath Live Evil Super Delux is a box set version of the bands 1982 album, nicely packaged with 2 versions of the live album. The first is remaster, I'm sure when Tony Iomme heard it he must have realized it wasn't gonna fly in 2023 It is a bit of a muddled mess. The second version of the album is a remix, it is awesome. Good separation, guitars volumes are more controlled The drums are sound very good. Dio's voice is in top form. There is a bit of chatting in between songs which doesn’t seem to be on the original.
The box set comes with a concert poster, a reproduction concert guide and very nicley designed book discussing the recording of this album. The highlights are the Dio era songs.
The Sabbath is a birthday present from Kathy and Ava, well received!

Caivano debut album is pure gold
Got this puppy in the mail today. Caivano, the debut solo album from long time Monster Magnet guitar player Phil Caivano. It’s a real kicker. A master class in distorted guitars and rock solid playing. Solos are very tasty and to the point. Phil is also serving bass duty and more than an adequate job on vocals. Bob Pantella does a stellar job keeping the the drum thumpin’ and the groove moving. This is a very strait ahead album with more than a few touches of Motörhead, Hawkwind and no surprise Monster Magnet. Love the sound of this record, it is the opposite of the new Metallica album sounds like Phil and Bob jammed in the same room. The record came printed on snazzy gold vinyl. Stand out tracks: Come & Get Me, Talk To The Dead, Fun & Games. Defiantly worth checking out.

Variation on Neurographics
Artist Pamela Paulenko sent me a link to a video describing the Neurographic Art method. We both saw the similarities between what is in the video and how I work. This is my 1st version of a NGA.
Family Heirloom
Our dear old Auntie Marion died a few weeks ago. I inherited a few things of sentimental value, some art, a few marionettes and these some Mickey Mouse Christmas Lights. I admired these lights since I was a kid. So I’m thrilled to get them. I hope to be able to convert them to LEDs and put them on the Christmas tree this year. Merry Christas Aunt Marion!
SLEEPING SAINT DIGITAL PRINT
Sleeping Saint digital print. Hope to have it available for sale by the end of April 2023. Both framed and unframed. I'm working out the details to make sure the framing and shipping are attractive and affordable.
Improv 1
I just listened to the wonderful book Effortless Mastery: Liberating the Master Musician Within by Kenny Werner. It was very inspirational for me, a guy who hasn’t done much playing for the past two years and needs break down some physical and mental and barriers. I don’t think I’m Kenny’s target audience, I’m a a guy recovering from a stroke who has less than punk rock abilities on a good day. Playing in time seemed a little daunting at this point, but free-form improvising sounds like it is just what the doctor ordered. Improv 1 is a continuation of an earlier theme started with Drone in Am . Still it seems like a fresh start. Let’s see where this leads to. I felt it had to be shared.

First bit of recorded guitar playing in about a year and a half. I had purchased a new Tascam 24 track mixer just before the stroke in March 2020, so it hadn’t used much for the first year. Playing is still a bitch but it’s a start.
Painting
Probably completed about fifteen years ago. No title, any suggestions?
Recovery
Originaly called scribles, somehow the new title is more appropriate.

Brains
Investigating how eating brain could help heal my brain. Sounds kinda gross but if it could help I’m game. Maybe salmon is a more appealing prospect.
Sigil
Sigil - A pictorial symbol used in ritualistic magic and supposed to have supernatural power.
The first bit of drawing I’ve done in over 1 year in a half.
